Moasure has sped up our estimating process by delivering accurate estimates, a file to show the proposed area(s) and takeoffs for our project. I am really impressed by the capabilities of this little device, working as a civil engineer in heavy construction it has turned to be a realible tool to measure areas, volumes and changes in elevation, i totally recommend this device!

If you’re anything like our small business, Changing even the smallest procedures can be like moving a mountain. Everything from using a new kind of paper in the printer, all the way to purchasing a different make of tractor seem to involve pushback from at least a few people in the room. People are comfortable in their routine, even if there are proven ways to save time and effort. The reason I’m spending so much time on this portion of my “review” of Moasure, is because that was the hardest part. Even as the person making the decision to purchase the system, my stomach sank when I thought about having to “sell” my crews on the device. I KNEW that it would make their jobs 10 times easier, they just needed to see it in action. I figured I had nothing to lose with the money back guarantee, so I ordered the system. It sat in my office for several days before I even opened it. I’m telling you, I was afraid to open “Pandora’s Box”. I knew that as soon as I did, the moaning would start from people having to learn a “new” system. So, I let it sit for a few more days.. The next time my construction supervisor came into the office, I showed him the device attached to the “stick”. He was instantly skeptical, but he was curious enough to try it out. Together we downloaded the app onto my phone, and went outside to play around with it. I could tell when we started messing around with it, his skepticism was waning. He was eager to try different areas and elevation samples and then compare them with the traditional line levels, string, etc. that we had always used. Not only was he impressed with the accuracy, he was having fun! I was relieved since I knew that if HE was convinced, the rest would be easy. The system has been a game changer for us. I could have spent my review talking about the various features and how it works, but all of that information is readily available. For me, the hard part was always going to be getting buy-in from the guys who were actually going to use the system. And that turned out to be not hard at all. I can’t recommend Moasure enough.
