With Moasure, you can measure multiple shapes and combine them into one, overall measurement.
You can add, delete, rename and turn layers on and off from the Layers menu in the measurement screen.
Layer Reference Points
All layers must share the same first two points as 'reference' points to ensure they overlay in the correct place. This means, when adding a layer, make sure the first point you start at is the same as the start point for the original 'base' layer.
Next, make sure the second point for each layer is the same as the second point for the 'base' layer.
After capturing the two reference points, you are then free to measure as normal and the new layer will position and orientate itself correctly.
All layers must also share the same first edge to ensure they orientate correctly. This means, when adding a layer, make sure the second point you measure is on the same line or edge as the second point of all other layers.
After setting the first and second points, you are then free to measure as normal and the new layer will position and orientate itself correctly.
When setting the Origin and first line, you can do this in 'Ignore Line' Path mode, or just 'Ignore' the points manually afterwards so that they don't get included in the diagram visually if you don't want them to.
Tap the Add Layer button to measure another area/shape. When the measurement is complete, the new layer (Sub Layer) will be positioned relative to the Base Layer.
Tap the three dots on any Layer in the list, then tap Rename to change the name of the Layer.
Tap the three dots on any Layer, then tap Export to export the Layer (requires a Moasure EXPORT subscription).
To remove a Layer completely, tap the three dots on any Layer in in the list, then tap Delete.
In the Layers list, tap the eye icon to show/hide an individual Layer..
