To measure the perimeter or area of a space, for example a lawn or yard, start a new Closed Shape measurement.

Select Trace mode and simply move along the curved line of a shape to digitally capture the perimeter and area.
Simply walk around obstacles and pause while you measure. When you've completed the measurement, tap any un-needed points and tap Edit. Use the Ignoretool to ignore the un-needed points.
Simply tap any point on your measurement to view the X, Y, and Z co-ordinate data. Tap View > Cross Section to view the length, rise and run, or gradient between any two points.
