To become a Moasure Ninja there are four easy steps:
1) Carry out measurements quickly
Speed = Accuracy. The quicker you move from A to B the more accurate the measurement will be. Do not be tempted to move the phone slowly.
2) Measure in small steps
If your measurement is going to take more than 3 or 4 seconds, for example for measurements over 3-4m (10-13’), break the measurement down into a number of smaller steps by resting your smartphone against a solid object every 3-4 seconds along the measurement; Moasure will calculate the total measurement distance more accurately than if you measure it in a single step.
3) Keep the phone level during the measurement.
The more you rotate your phone, the less accurate the result will be.' with 'It doesn’t matter which way up you hold your Moasure measuring device but try not to rotate it during the measurement. The more you rotate it, the less accurate the result will be.
4) Take Averages
Taking the average of a number of measurements will also increase the accuracy. Taking two or three measurements will typically improve the accuracy by 25-33%, while averaging four or five measurements will typically improve the accuracy by 50-100%
